Individuals who register as Physicians or Other Professionals may earn continuing education credit certificates.

Continuing Medical Education (CME) Approved:  The Plant-based Prevention Of Disease "P-POD Nutrition & Lifestyle Med. Conference 2025 Series" (Sept. 14, 26, 27, 28 + Oct. 5, 2025).

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Morehouse School of Medicine and Plant-based Prevention Of Disease, Inc.  The Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Morehouse School of Medicine designates the live activity "P-POD Nutrition & Lifestyle Med. Conference 2025 Series” for a maximum of up to 37.00 AMA PRA Category 1 credits™.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

[FURTHER COMMENT ABOUT PARTICIPANTS:  This type of credit is most commonly associated with MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs and Nurse Midwives, but the Morehouse School of Medicine can also issue a comparable Certificate of Attendance to participants such as RNs, RDs, PTs, OTs, DCs, LAcs, anesthetists, pharmacists and exercise physiologists, for purposes such as, some state boards recognizing their credits or ABLM/ACLM always accepting them for Diplomate examination prerequisites or Maintenance of Certification.]

In accordance with the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support of CME, MSM has implemented mechanisms, prior to the planning and implementation of this CME activity, to identify and resolve conflicts of interest for all individuals in a position to control content of this CME activity.  MSM in accordance with ACCME guidelines requires instructors, planners, managers and other individuals who are in a position to control the content of this activity to disclose any real or apparent conflict of interest they may have as related to the content of this activity.  All identified conflicts of interest are thoroughly vetted by MSM for fair balance, scientific objectivity of studies mentioned in the materials or used as the basis for content, and the appropriateness of patient care recommendations.  Full disclosure of speaker relationships will be made at this activity.

As always, P-POD Conferences may be used for all Lifestyle Medicine Diplomate credentialing purposes.  You may register to attend any combination of the five 2025 days, and each day would provide the following number of approved hours:

  • 8 hours:  Sunday September 14 (virtual)

  • 5 hours:  Friday September 26 (virtual)

  • 8 hours:  Saturday September 27 (virtual)

  • 8 hours:  Sunday September 28 (virtual)

  • 8 hours:  Sunday October 5 (virtual, but expected to become northeast U.S. in-person with virtual option)

For Lifestyle Medicine purposes, you would use a CME certificate from P-POD, not a Registered Nurse or Registered Dietitian or Family Physician certificate.

Candidates for 2025's Lifestyle Medicine Diplomate
examination need to complete at least 20 hours of approved Event CME , so ANY THREE DAYS of P-POD's 2025 conferences will satisfy that for you.  You should register for the Diplomate exam by Sept. 30 and provide ABLM/ACLM with a copy of your P-POD CME certificates by Oct. 23 (but the Oct. 23 date is subject to change by them).  Other prerequisites for Diplomate credentialing are shown

AAFP Family Physicians

AAFP Pending:  Application for CME credit for P-POD Nutrition & Lifestyle Med. Conference 2025 Series has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians.  Determination of credit is pending.

Application has been filed for Prescribed Credits for these days:
