Continuing Education Credits, 2024

We are pleased to offer affordable educational opportunities for health professionals.  Information about each type of continuing education credit is continually updated throughout the year on this page.  To receive continuing education credits you must register for a conference as "Physician" or "Other Professional", not “Public” or “Student / Medical Resident”.  Partial attendance would result in pro-rating of credits.

PLEASE SEE THIS linked file about our providing 2024 prerequisite credits for ABLM/ACLM Lifestyle Medicine Diplomate candidates, to supplement information on the page below.

Lifestyle Medicine Credentialing, certified by ABLM/ACLM:   ABLM and ACLM automatically approve the hours of all P-POD Conferences as applying to all Lifestyle Medicine credentialing purposes, when the CME credits are finalized.  This covers the educational event prerequisites for Diplomate exam-takers as well as the Diplomate Maintenance of Certification requirements.

LIFESTYLE MEDICINE DIPLOMATE CREDENTIALING:  In December 2017, P-POD became the world's third conference provider accredited as satisfying the educational event prerequisites for Lifestyle Medicine Diplomate examinations and credentialing.  These requirements, formerly known as "In-person CME", and now renamed as "Event CME", have always been live, as opposed to on-demand, in nature, but as of 2024, virtual as well as in-person attendance does qualify.  All P-POD Conferences are recognized by ABLM and ACLM as applying toward this purpose.  Please look HERE for details about satisfying this Diplomate examination prerequisite in 2024.

SEE INFORMATION ABOUT P-POD'S "P-FLEX" 2024 SYSTEM
HERE.  It allows any THREE of the SIX P-POD Conference days offered between June and October to be combined into your own individual 22.5 hour registration.

FOR EXISTING LIFESTYLE MEDICINE DIPLOMATES:  P-POD ALWAYS COUNTS TOWARD YOUR MAINTENANCE, AND ALWAYS ALLOWS 10% REGISTRATION DISCOUNT.  For persons who are already Diplomates:  If you are using the Maintenance of Certification plan that requires 30 Continuing Medical Education credits in the 5 years after your credentialing, then all CME credits that are offered by ANY P-POD Conferences (in-person OR virtual) will count toward your 30 hour requirement.  ALL P-POD Conferences ALSO allow a 10% discount for existing Lifestyle Medicine Diplomates on their Physician or Other Professional registrations (using code DIPLM).

All other lifestyle medicine certifying requirements are described
HERE, under "The Certification Process".
